back to Step 1 Mammography Screening

Step 2: Diagnostic Breast Imaging
If you find a lump, have other breast symptoms, or an abnormal mammogram, you will need a diagnostic breast evaluation.  This may include a diagnostic mammogram, possibly with exta views, an ultrasound study or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).  Your radiologist will read these studies at the time of your appointmnet and discuss the results with you.

Battlefield Auxiliary Breast Center uses the most innovative delivery of breast healthcare and boasts a full array of all digital imaging services.  Because all of our services are under the same roof, these tests may be performed the same day as your mammogram.  If needed, a biopsy can be scheduled within 24 hours and a diagnosis and treatment plan can be presented within 48 hours.  This unique and cmprehensive approach means less wait time - and less worry - for you and your family.
